Saw this Thai Pantene commercial in YT a while ago. It's really worth the time to check it out.



If only more commercials would be like that then I would not mind having commercials played over and over again (hint hint: American Idol....Greenwich...ring a bell?)

And these particular lines struck me the most, as in it marked a space in my heart :
Deaf girl: Why am I different from others?
Old Man: Why...do you have to be like others?

Oo nga naman. WHY BE LIKE OTHERS? Why not make a difference? I remember talking to Dinah about my "dream". I told her shyly (cos actually, this kinda makes me feel embarrass) that it's my dream to make a difference. Yeah, I know...it sounds ambitious. IT IS AMBITIOUS. I didn't specify if that "difference" is only for myself or for the world. The world is to big to begin with. How can I make a difference for the world when I cannot make one for myself?

I've always wanted to do something amazing. But actually, I don't even know if I can do something that can amaze myself. If that's the case, then how can I do something amazing for the whole world to see?

When asked "What's your dream?" I honestly don't know what to answer. 'cause I'm actually too shy to say what my "dream" is.

Actually, I don't know why I want that "dream". Or did I just say that because I actually don't know what I want to be or who I want to be. I don't know. Seriously.

Last Friday, my family and I went to Caylabne Beach Resort in Cavite. Ayun, we went beach-ing and swimming.




The thing that I love the most about going to places with my family is us singing along to songs played on the radio. It's fun seeing them belting out tunes from The Beatles' Here Comes the Sun to David Cook's rendition of Always Be My Baby. My mp4 is kinda useless when I'm with them.

And one weird fact about me is that I like being on the road better than arriving at the destination. I have this weird feeling inside me when we get on the destination. It is as if I don't really want to go there, I just like getting there.

Anyway, when we got there I was reminded why my favorite colors are GREEN and YELLOW. Actually, on the way pa lang SUPER reminded na ako why I looove GREEN and YELLOW! I looove TREES and BEACHES and SUNRISES and SUNSETS and SANDS and SUN!!





I remember Papa asked me what would I want for my debut for 2011, I answered him "Gusto ko entourage ko nasa Yellow Submarine ako, pataas yung Yellow Submarine ko from under the sea tas tutugtog yung "Here Comes the Sun" ng Beatles. Tas yung mga tao will wait sa may dalampasigan ng beach." HAHAHA. Pretty Ambitious. HAHA :))Tas I saw these:


If that ambitious debut would happen in 2011, that's exactly where I want it to happen. HAHAHA.

Actually, the reason we went there was to celebrate my parent's 17th wedding anniversary! YAY! HAPPY 17th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MAMA and PAPA!





To my sister and I, it felt like having a SLUMBER PARTY! Hahaha. The whole trip was also fattening!! We'll swim, sleep, eat, take pictures, eat, stroll...oh, did I already mention EAT? HAHA :))


and would you believe that my sister actually ate almost the whole pizza?! She wouldn't want to share. HAHA. Gluttonous girl. Baaaaad :))

AND WOULD and COULD ANYBODY TELL ME WHAT'S THE NAME OF THIS MAGICAL TREE?

Papa kept on calling this tree Sakura when it's actually not.He kept calling it that 'cos he doesn't know its name too. Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) of Japan is sooo beautiful and I see this tree as a Philippine version of it. Haha. The tree kept reminding of FIRE. basta, I really find it soooo beautiful! Whenever we see one, talagang linilingon ko sya. Haha :)

SO PLEASE, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT'S THE NAME OF THAT TREE. It would be soooo NICE and PUH-RETTY and HOT of you! HAHA :))

P.S. Don't take what I said about my ambitious debut seriously. HAHA. I'm not that ambitious. HAHA :))

I just came back from Zambales yesterday afternoon. And dear, let me tell you, I was dead tired. Haha. The moment I arrived at our house I threw myself in the couch and fell asleep.

Last Friday, my family and I went to Villa Escudero for my dad's company outing. The whole place was nice! Parang, it was just a huge resthouse. Oh my. I wish in the future I'll have something like that too!

There was a museum there, 'twas part of the tour, and it was really nice and educational. I haven't been in a museum for a long time already, so this experience brought me back from being my childlike self. All the time I was there I was uttering "ooohhhh" and "aahhhh". Parang caveman na nakadiscover ng fire. haha :) Seriously, I was really amazed. They even had those AUTHENTIC uniforms of Japanese Soldiers. And they even have the letter of Dr. Jose Rizal to his sister. But I have one complaint, the "tourist guide" was too fast! Man, I wasn't even finish reading the artifact's description he was already onto the next one. Tsk tsk. Okay, I actually have 2 complaints. Too bad that they don't allow visitors to take pictures inside the Museum...I was soooo dissapointed. But I understand, after all it's a museum.

Tapos they took us to the resort through a Carabao Ride. It was a really nice experience rin! But I really felt bad for the carabao. I mean, c'mon! She was such a poor thing carrying 8 heavy passengers. :((

HAHA. NICE ASS. :)) :))
...and I even exposed her pretty butt to the whole world. lol.

And while chillaxing and feeling bad for the carabao, the "kucheros" were singing us songs from the past. As in kanta nung generation nina Lolo and Lola. Haha :)



Too bad for me 'cos it was the time of the month that's why I couldn't swim. Haha. But at least I "discovered" something (or should I say someone? LOL) that got my full attention and my eyes busy. HAHA.

Anyway, even though it was the time of the month that didn't stop me from BALSA-ing. Haha. Ate Marj and I don't know how to navigate our balsa, that's why we just kept on laughing the whole time.

We even ate dun sa may artificial falls! Yung man made! I was na-elibs! HAHAH :))

We were about to go home already when TENEN!! we found out we had flat tires! And our spare tires were flat too! Good thing, staffs from Papa's office were still there so they were able to help us out! So, we had the other tire "pinahanginan" at least. That way, we could still go to the nearest vulcanizing shop about 3kms. Haha :)) It was FUN rin! It is as if ayaw kaming pauwiin!

Morning after that, Papa woke us up to tell us na we'll go with him in Zambales. About 5am when Papa rushed us to pack our clothes 'cos we'll be staying there overnight. So rush rush talaga. So I packed my essentials: my camera, phone, mp4, mp4 charger, book, undies, clothes, jacket, vanithings haha and etc. Super madalian talaga. We left the house by 6am. I didn't know Zambales was that faaaaaaaaaaar. We had numerous stopovers before we got to the place. By 3 in the afternoon na kami nakadating sa location.

Tas we went to this rest house of one of Papa's staffs, kay Tito Micky. He has this really nice rest house near the beach. As in super tapat lang ang beach. It was sooo cool. And this was the best part of the whole trip! WE GET TO SLEEP UNDER THE STARS!! I've been wanting to do that for a loooong time already...but now I've finally done it! We put up some tents near the beach for us to sleep. That night was the best sleeping night I ever had...though I pretty much didn't sleep 'cause I was in sooo much awe of the stars! THE STARS!! They were soooo plenty and sooo pretty!! I couldn't sleep because I was sooo happy STARGAZING. Haha. I remember when Kuya Little first took us there near the beach to see the stars, I was like O_O SUPER AMAZED. HAHA. I have never seen sooo many stars in my life! HAHA. Para akong batang first time nakakain ng Ice Cream. HAHAHA :))

Parang sleep over lang...under the stars :)


When I "woke up" Haha. Promise, it's hard to sleep when you are seeing millions of stars in front of you. Oh, I actually saw two falling stars!! Those kind of things that when you see you make wish. And what's my wish? It's a secret between me and the stars! :) HAHA :)

I was already blogging about my Villa Escudero-Zambales roadtrip experience when I realized that it's getting too late for me to finish it. The photobucket's a mess and why the heck is it taking too long to upload the pictures? Daarn. I really like photo blogging. And I want to post those pictures as evidence. Haha :)

Anyway, I'm already sleepy but heck...I dunno why I'm still blogging.

Oh yeah, I'll just continue my "story telling" about my Villa Escudero-Zambales experience tomorrow. :)

I just finished reading H.Murakami's After Dark. And I must say, it was pretty nice. The book was well written. I actually like his style of writing. It makes me feel as if I could really see what's going on in the story. Nice nice. I'm planning to buy Norwegian Wood, but heck, every bookstore I go is sold-out. Hmm...just like when I was looking for Twilight last summer. Also, I wanna get my hands on Everything is Illuminated! Oh dear. I want to have my allowance back!! This is what I hate about summer...no allowances, no money, no WANTS. HAHA :))

Currently, I'm reading ATONEMENT. I'm in the first 5 chapters...and it's really tickling my interest :) I wanna watch the movie! Who has DVD?

Oh and yeah, I just finished watching BOYS OVER FLOWERS. Haha :) And OMG, KIM HYUN JOONG, I never realized that you are ACTUALLY HOT. Haha :) I guess I wasn't really paying attention to you back in your DEJA VU days. I kept looking at KIM KI BUM of SuJu. And LEE MINHO is HOOOOT in his Vogue Photo shoot. Though I don't usually like guys who dresses up too much (Oh I'm sorry Jiyong..kokjongma! I still loooove you!!hahha) I must say MINHO is just too HOT to say No to :)) HAHA :))

I still haven't changed my mind, I still want no other than SHIM CHANGMIN. Haha. I miss DONG BANG SHIN KI :)

Today, I officially miss getting kilig over Jason Mraz's voice. When I woke up this morning, the first song that popped into mind was "You and I both". Oh my. I used to really really love Jason Mraz...back in the days when the name Dong Bang Shin Ki was still unknown to me. Hahaha. I remember I was the only girl in class who loooves him and is a self-proclaimed in-love with the geek in the pink. Haha. I miss the days when I scribbled down in the back of my notebook Mrs. Alyssa Mraz. God knows what surnames I have scribbled downed at the back my notebooks after that. Hahaha :))

I think I go through different phases. The back of my notebook is just the perfect witness. What notebook? Usually, those notebooks whose subject bores me. Hahaha :)) Pero, yeah, it's a witness of my raging teenage hormones. Haha.


1st year HS - Mrs. Alyssa Mraz, Mrs. Bouvier, Mrs.Alyssa Camille Castro rodriguez-Murray, Mrs. Lafferty (I am sucha big fan of OTH!! BRUCAS!!) That time, I was really into musicians...and One Tree Hill! Haha. I always wanted someone like Lucas Scott, or better yet, Lucas Scott himself :) Oh yeah. Everything about Lucas Scott draws me in. WAW. WAHAH :)) His mysterious aura, that sexy laugh and whisper that gives me goosebumps (in a good way, of course, his being romantically poetic) His SEXAAAY SMILE...EVERYTHING! except him being so malandi with Brooke at the same time with her BFF, Payton. GAWSH. Who could not resist you Lucas Scott?!?! HAHA :))

That time, though I was such a big fan of Brucas and I want them to have a happily ever after, I always thought I'm more of a Payton Sawyer. Sobraaaa. I love her curls, her being artsy-fartsy, her taste of music, her super cool red bedroom...EVERYTHING ABOUT HER too. Okay okay. I'm such a faaaan :))

2nd year HS - Mrs. Alyssa Tiu (HAHAHA. I was sooo into UAAP that time!! SORRY NAMAN) Mrs. Alyssa #@!%(!! HAHAHA :)) CENSORED NA. OMG. Now, all I can think of is Chris Tiu. HAHA. Okay. I guess dito na nag-start and "Chinitos are cute" answer ko sa question na "Which do you like better, chinito o mestizo?" AHAHAHAHHA. WTF. Ang corny. BUT...REALLY. Oh, another, RAIN! Rain as in "My name is Rain!" Haha :)) See? See? So..this is where it all started. Even the censored surname has that chinky eyes eh. GAWSH. HAHA :))

3rd year HS - Mrs. Alyssa Humphrey, Mrs. Alyssa Archibald (GOSSIP GIRL ERA! HAHA ), Mrs. Alyssa Wentz (I'm actually embarrassed to admit this hahaha), Mrs. Landon carter (But I'm guessing na waaaaaaaaaaaay back before pa eto ehh). So...FICTIONAL CHARACTERS. Hahah :)) and a ROCKSTARRR. Oh yeah, because that time OTH was I-dunno-where and GG was still starting to make it's way to fame here in Philippines, I found a "substitute" for my book-loving Lucas Scott. TENTENENENEN. And there, DAN HUMPHREY entered the scene! I have a weakness for romantically poetic fictional characters. Hahaha :)) But kung sa looks, NATE ARCHIBALD all the way. Nate Archibald or should I say Chace Crawford instead? Haha. I don't freaking care if some people think he looks like Zac Efron. I DON'T CARE. Let me quote him "It's just the hair" Haha :))

4th year HS - Mrs. Alyssa Cullen (WAHAHAHA), Mrs. Alyssa Shim (DBSK! looove), Mrs. Alyssa Kim (okaaaay. too many Kim's hahha ) and etc. So, the TWILIGHT CRAZE. Everybody in the room knows about this! I kind of brought the twilight craze there. Sooo...everybody knows who got Edward Cullen first. Haha! Possessive much? hahah! I even bought a shirt saying "little Miss Cullen" But I would've love it better if it was me drawn there and not Bella. hahaha :)) Oh and the Korean surnames! If you don't know anything about KPop, you wouldn't guess it nor have a clue about it. haha :)

So, if I could be charged and imprisoned for this SUPER ULTRA MEGA POLYGAMY, I'm Guilty as charged! hahaha!
